Tragedy struck in the wee hours of Friday, November 16. Coastal and delta districts in Tamil Nadu were witness to the devastation of Gaja, a severe cyclonic storm, that left in its wake, a trail of destruction across Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Ramanathapuram, Thiruvarur, Thanjavur, Trichy, Pudukkottai, Dindigul and Puducherry. #Savedelta mass movement gathered momentum to restore the normal life of the delta region.
Mallipattinam is a coastal village in the Pattukkottai taluk of Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, India. Our team promptly identified and distributed the donations (Rice, Dhaal, Candles, bedsheets & Sanitary pads). Thanks a lot to our volunteers Mahendran, Chandru, Balaji (research scholar in Marine study, key member of OMkar foundation) and RCT team.
